General Terms of Use for Storysearch Games Ltd.
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the App. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Accounts and Sign-In
The App uses Sign in with Apple and/or Google Sign-In for authentication, implemented via Firebase Authentication. Your use of those sign-in methods is also subject to Apple’s and Google’s terms and policies. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple/Google account and for any activity that occurs through your access to the App.
Privacy and Diagnostics
Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy (Last Updated: 6th January 2026). By using the App, you acknowledge that authentication is provided via Apple/Google sign-in (through Firebase Authentication), and the App uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash and diagnostics information to help us fix bugs and improve performance.
License and Ownership
The App and all related content, features, and intellectual property (including artwork, code, design, logos, gameplay actions and trademarks) are owned by Storysearch / Storysearch Games Ltd. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the App except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the App, its systems, or its security, use bots, automation, or other methods to manipulate gameplay, performance, or availability upload or transmit malware or other harmful code.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (in whole or in part) at any time, including to improve performance, fix bugs, or maintain security.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Third-Party Services and Platforms
The App may rely on third-party services (such as Google Firebase) and is distributed via third-party platforms (such as the Apple App Store and Google Play). Your use of those services and platforms may be governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements or that it will be free of bugs or interruptions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Storysearch will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a security, legal, or operational risk.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. If you wish to request account deletion, please follow the instructions in our Privacy Policy or contact us.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
