This Privacy Policy describes how Storysearch Games Ltd collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our mobile game App.

Information We Collect
Account information (via social login). When you sign in using Apple or Google, this is governed by their terms of use, privacy police and other agreements. This information is obtained from the sign-in provider and we only use for authentication and account administration purposes. Firebase Authentication also generates/stores identifiers used for authentication purposes.
Crash & Diagnostics Information
To help us fix bugs and improve performance, the App uses Firebase Crashlytics. Crashlytics collects: crash stack traces and relevant application state when the App crashes. Device and OS information to assist with debugging crashes. Maintain and improve App stability (crash analysis), Detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and errors. Prioritise bug fixes based on crash frequency and impact.
Where UK/EU data protection laws apply, we generally process account data for performance of a contract (providing login/account access). Crash/diagnostics under legitimate interests (app security, troubleshooting, reliability improvements) legal compliance when/if required by law.
Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We use third-party services to operate the App ie. Google Firebase. Apple and Google may provide us with aggregated analytics and reporting through their developer platforms (for example, app downloads, impressions, and performance metrics). This platform reporting is controlled by Apple/Google and is separate from what Storysearch obtain directly.
Data Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described: Account information (name/email): retained while your account remains active and as needed for security, support, and legal compliance. Crash reports. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. International data transfers: our service providers may process data on infrastructure located in different countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above indicates the latest revision. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, in-app or via store listing updates). If we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
